Categories of Applicants

Prospective candidates seeking admission into Augustine University must not be less than 16 years of age by October of the Admission year.

Applicants must have completed their secondary school education and possess a minimum of five O' Level Credit passes at one or two sittings in West African SSCE/GCE/NECO or its acceptable equivalents which must include credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and at least three other subjects relevant to the proposed course of studies.

* UTME Applicants who are awaiting results for SSCE/GCE can also apply.

* UTME Applicants must have chosen AUI as FIRST CHOICE INSTITUTION in the UTME Examinations of the admission year.

* UTME Applicants who did not choose AUI as first choice Institution in the UTME by JAMB of the admission year MAY also APPLY with the understanding that he/she will have to process the change of institution on the JAMB portal before the screening as JAMB is the only body that grants admission to all Nigerian Institution.

* Direct Entry (DE) Applicants can also apply i.e. candidates who have either of the following certificates: OND/A'Level/JUPEB/equivalents of the mentioned and must have obtained DE form of the admission year from JAMB.

Transfer (TS) Applicants from other University's must have Admission Letter to the University of previous admission to be eligible for TS admission process.

HOW TO APPLY (PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY)

1. On the homepage of the University's website, click on "Undergraduate Admission Portal".

2. Read the Application Instructions carefully

3. Click "Create Account"

4. Select Programme type (UTME for 'JAMB" candidates/ Direct Entry for those with JUPEB or A'Level or OND results/ Transfer for Inter-University transfers/ JUPEB programme for those enrolling for JUPEB and Part-Time for Part-Time candidates)

5. Input other details

6. Create Account.

7. Log in with your details and click on "Pay with Remita", generate the RRR number and follow prompts to proceed with payment for the application form.

8. Once payment is successful, you'll be directed to fill the application form.

9. At the bottom of that page, go ahead to make payment for the O'Level result verification, using the Remita platform.

10. Once payment is successful, you'll be prompted to fill in your result details, including your JAMB result details and upload your documents.

11. Click on "Submit" to submit your form. You should see a "application submitted" pop-up on your screen to confirm application submission.

NOTE: If you attempted payment, were debited and received the receipt of payment from Remita in your email but the status of your portal didn't change, kindly follow these instructions:

1. On the left hand side of your portal, scroll to "Resolve Payment".

2. Look for the RRR number indicated on the Remita receipt among the payment attempts on the resolve payment page and click "Check Status".

3. If the payment was approved, click the link on that page and your portal status will be updated immediately. 

 

Once the steps above have been completed, you will be CONTACTED by the University via the registered email for the screening exercise.
