Professor Omoregbe holds Doctoral degrees in Theology and Philosophy from the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium, and the Lateran University in Rome, respectively. This seasoned academic also obtained his Masters of Arts and Bachelor of Arts from the Lateran University and the Gregorian University, respectively.

Professor Omoregbe has lectured in Universities within and outside Nigeria, at both undergraduate and graduate levels. He had served as an external examiner to all the universities in Nigeria with degree progamme in philosophy or a Department of philosophy, both at the graduate level and at the postgraduate level.  He had served on the panels of academic accreditation to accredit degree programmes in Humanity/ Arts disciplines in Nigerian Universities in 1999, 2000, 2003, 2005.
