Dr. Aborisade Olaniyi Dada
Senior Lecturer
Profile & Experiences:
Dr. Olaniyi Dada Aborisade is a computer scientist, researcher, and academic with extensive experience in cybersecurity, cloud security, digital forensics, artificial intelligence, and software engineering research. He obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mathematical Sciences (Computer Science option) from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria, in 2000. He later earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, in 2007.
Between 2015 and 2016, Dr. Aborisade carried out his Ph.D. research benchwork at Hochschule Furtwangen University (HFU), Germany. He subsequently completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Nigeria, in 2017.
Dr. Aborisade is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, College of Physical Sciences, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Nigeria. He is also currently serving as the Acting Head of Department at Augustine University, Ilara-Epe, Lagos.
He is a member of several local and international professional bodies and has authored and co-authored over thirty publications in reputable local and international journals and conference proceedings. His research interests include Cloud Security, Digital Forensics, Artificial Intelligence, Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) prevention, Software Defined Networking (SDN), and Software Defect Prediction.
Dr. Aborisade won a national research grant supporting part of his Ph.D. research in 2025 and has also served as a co-investigator on two international grants awarded in 2025.
