Dr Igbinadolor Richard Osaretin

Profile & Experiences:

Dr. Igbinadolor is a graduate of the University of Benin, Edo state, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. He has a Masters in Food/Applied Microbiology and a Doctorate degree in Microbiology/Biotechnology, both from the University of Ibadan, Oyo state. He also has certificates in Biotechnology from the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), Italy, where he was also a Research Fellow.

Dr. Igbinadolor was the Head of Research Station (HOS) at the Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria, Sabongida-Ora, Edo State, Nigeria where he Coordinated research activities of the Station. His doctoral research work centered on the “Fermentation of Cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) Pod Husk and its Hydrolysate for Ethanol (Biofuel) Production using Genetically Modified Starter cultures.”

He is a member of the World Vinegar Association, Modena, Italy; Science Association of Nigeria; Nigerian Biotechnology Group and the Nigeria Society of Microbiology.

As expected of a researcher, he has many publications to his name.
