Profile & Experiences:

Dr. (Mrs.) Grace Ofure Evbuomwan is a Development Economist. She studied Agricultural Economics at the University of Ibadan and has been exposed to several professional and management courses both locally and internationally such as at the Harvard Institute of International Development, Boston, USA, The International Law Institute, Washington DC, The West African Institute for Financial and Economic Management,
Nigeria, etc. She worked for the Central Bank of Nigeria from 1981 to 2008, carrying out numerous researches and consulting projects for the bank, other government organisations and international bodies such as the Food and Agricultural Organisation of the United Nations in various areas, spanning the disciplines of finance, economics and agriculture.

She retired as an Assistant Director into the Academia and had lectured at the Lagos State Polytechnic, Mcpherson University, and Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State, before joining Augustine University in October, 2018. She has authored over eighty publications. She is widely travelled and belongs to several professional associations. She is a Fellow of the Farm Management Association of Nigeria (FFAMAN), and currently represents West and Central Africa on the Council of the International Farm Management Association (IFMA). She is a Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (HCIB), a Life Member of the Nigerian Economic Society, etc., where she has held several executive positions in the past such as Conference Editor, General Secretary, Financial Secretary, Vice President and President.

Dr. (Mrs.) Grace Ofure Evbuomwan was born to Roman Catholic parents and has sustained the Faith over the years. She has served the Church at the Parish, Deanery and Archdiocesean levels and is currently on the Board of the Ancillia Catholic Hospitals run by the Handmaid of the Holy Child Jesus Reverend Sisters. She is a Member of the Opus Dei.
