Dr. Akindoyin Dare Isaac
Lecturer II
Profile & Experiences:
Dr. Akindoyin Dare Isaac is a Political Scientist specialising in International Relations, with a strong focus on regional security, conflict management, and global governance. He currently serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Political Science and International Relations, where he is actively engaged in teaching, research, and academic mentorship. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he holds the administrative role of Coordinator of the Department.
Dr. Akindoyin’s research explores critical issues such as terrorism and counterterrorism, regional institutional responses, and the role of alternative diplomatic mechanisms, including Track Two Diplomacy, in conflict resolution. He has contributed to scholarly discourse through publications, conference presentations, and collaborative research initiatives.
His notable achievements include involvement in international academic programs, as well as co-editing scholarly works in honor of distinguished academics. He is the co-editor of the book titled Knowledge in the Emerging Global Order.
