Dr. Fadipe Israel Ayinla

Profile & Experiences:

Dr. Fadipe, Israel Ayinla is a lecturer and the Head of the Department of Mass Communication and Media Studies at Augustine University. He specialises in communication, cultural studies, and gender studies, and has published articles, book chapters, and books in both local and international journals and publishing outlets.

His works have appeared in reputable publishing houses such as Palgrave Macmillan, Springer International, Taylor & Francis, Malthouse Press Limited, Lexington Books, and IGI Global. He has also published articles, chapters, and books in respected journals including Ibadan Journal of Humanistic Studies, Journal of Communication and Media Research, International Journal of Communication, Muziki: Journal of Music Research in Africa, Africology: The Journal of Pan-African Studies, Journal of Culture and Environment, Journal of Communication and Language Arts, EJOTMAS, The Journal of Society and Media, Catalan Journal of Communication and Cultural Studies, Gender and Behaviour, Africa Focus, Journalism and Media, Communicare, and Journal of African Films and Diaspora Studies, among others.

Dr. Fadipe was a Postdoctoral Fellow at North-West University and also served as a Visiting Research Fellow at Ghent University.

He obtained his BA, MA, and PhD degrees in Communication and Language Arts from the Department of Communication and Language Arts, University of Ibadan.
