The Department of Mass Communication and Media Studies, under the leadership of Professor Ene Comfort Obaje, organized a surprise birthday celebration for the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Christopher Odetunde, in his office on Wednesday, 19th June, 2025.

Though the Vice-Chancellor's birthday was marked on the 7th of June, the department took the initiative to extend the joy by springing a heartfelt surprise in appreciation of his visionary leadership and unwavering support to the department and the entire University community.

The brief but warm celebration was filled with cheerful moments, prayers, and goodwill messages. Professor Odetunde expressed his gratitude for the kind gesture and commended the team for their thoughtfulness.
