As part of activities marking its 10th year of establishment, Augustine University, Ilara-Epe officially launched its 10th Anniversary Commemorative Brochure on Wednesday, 25th June, 2025, immediately after the Anniversary Thanksgiving Mass held at the Chapel of Mary, Mother of the Church.

The commemorative publication, which highlights the decade-long journey of the University, was formally unveiled by the Proprietor, His Grace, Most Rev. (Dr.) Alfred Adewale Martins, Archbishop of the Metropolitan See of Lagos. 

He was joined in the symbolic unveiling by several key dignitaries including the Chancellor, Mr. Femi Otedola, ably represented by Mr. Philip Akinola; Chairman, Board of Trustees, Sir Steve Omojafor; Chairman, Governing Council/Pro-Chancellor, Chief Gilbert Grant; the Representative of the Alara of Ilara Kingdom, HRM Oba (Dr.) Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo; Vice-Chancellor, Professor Christopher Odetunde; Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Anthony Akinwale , OP; Registrar, Mrs. Margaret Aziba; Pioneer Vice-Chancellor, Professor Steve Afolami, and his wife, Professor Carolyn Afolami.

Also joining the Proprietor for the unveiling were the University Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Andrew Toye; the Director of Operations, Rev. (Dr.) Emmanuel Ogundele; and other invited priests.

The ceremony attracted numerous benefactors, staff, students, alumni, and friends of the University, all of whom gathered at the University Convocation Hall for the celebration.

The Chief Launchers of the Brochure, Mr. and Mrs. Chuks Ifekandu (ably represented by their daughter who is also a student of AUI), led the donation drive alongside several other prominent individuals and institutions.

The 10th Anniversary Brochure is a richly illustrated and thoughtfully curated publication, capturing the milestones, growth, benefactors, alumni achievements, staff contributions, and the Catholic identity of the University since its inception in 2015.

The ceremony ended on a joyful note, with all in attendance celebrating the legacy and promising future of Augustine University.
