Augustine University Students Inducted at 62nd AATWA ICAN Ceremony Augustine University, Ilara-Epe, continues to raise the bar in academic and professional excellence, as eight of its students were formally inducted into the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) as Associate Accounting Technicians (AAT) at the 62nd AATWA Induction Ceremony held on Tuesday, 22nd July 2025 at ICAN Centre, Lakeview Estate, Amuwo Odofin, Lagos State. The ceremony was organized by the Association of Accounting Technicians West Africa (AATWA), a body under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), to formally admit new members who had successfully passed the March 2025 Accounting Technicians Scheme West Africa (ATSWA) Final Examination. The Augustine University students who were inducted include: Onamade Eric – 400 Level, Department of Accounting and Finance Onyebulem Mirabel – 400 Level, Department of Accounting and Finance Dike Chisom – 400 Level, Department of Accounting and Finance Mbaegbu Estelle – 300 Level, Department of Accounting and Finance Obinodu Christabel – 200 Level, Department of Accounting and Finance Ato Emmanuel – 200 Level, Department of Accounting and Finance Ijeoma Imelda – 200 Level, Department of Accounting and Finance Chigozie-Nmonwu Lumen-Maria – 300 Level, Department of Economics.  The induction of these students into the ICAN AAT ranks speaks volumes about Augustine University’s focus on grooming well-rounded professionals. It also affirms the readiness of AUI students to meet global standards in accounting practice and ethics.
