National Universities Commission has granted accreditation to the Business Administration, Political Science, Chemistry, and Nursing Science programmes of Augustine University. The approval was conveyed in a letter dated 7th April, 2026, following the Commission’s accreditation exercise in 2025.

The programmes were due for accreditation, and the successful outcome represents a significant achievement for the University in its continuous pursuit of academic excellence and quality assurance.

Reacting to the development, the Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Professor Anthony Alaba Akinwale, OP, expressed delight and appreciation to Members of Staff, Students, and stakeholders whose commitment and dedication contributed to the successful exercise.

He further stated that the accreditation strengthens confidence in the quality and credibility of its academic offerings while strengthening its mission of producing graduates equipped with sound knowledge, leadership qualities, and strong ethical values.
