The Augustine University community on Wednesday, 10th June, 2026, came together to celebrate the birthday anniversary of the Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Professor Anthony Alaba Akinwale, OP, in recognition of his exemplary leadership, dedication to academic excellence, and commitment to the growth and development of the Institution.

The celebration brought together Staff Members of the University who paid glowing tributes to the distinguished scholar, administrator, and priest of the Order of Preachers (Dominicans). The occasion was marked by prayers, goodwill messages, and expressions of appreciation for his transformative leadership since assuming office as Vice-Chancellor.

Special prayers were offered for God's continued guidance, wisdom, good health and abundant blessings upon the Vice-Chancellor as he continues to steer the affairs of Augustine University toward greater heights.
