Profile & Experiences:

Dr. Oluwatobi Akinmerese is a Doctor of Computer Science in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Augustine University, Ilara-Epe, Lagos, Nigeria, where he serves as the Students’ Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) Coordinator and Course Level Adviser for 200-level students. His research interests span computer networks, cybersecurity, and information technology, with notable contributions to network optimization, cybercrime defence, IoT security, and applied computing solutions for education and student life. He has published extensively in reputable journals, with works ranging from predictive modeling and data mining to innovative web applications for academic productivity and hostel management systems. Beyond research, Dr. Akinmerese has supervised over 45 undergraduate projects, demonstrating a strong commitment to mentorship, academic advising, and community engagement.
